With Expanded Delight installed, its juices, goat milk, soups and salads restore thirst, and the Cooking Pot cooks nothing from sea water.
Supported versions

On Minecraft 1.20.1, its drinks and foods restore thirst too. Its build there is Fabric only, and the Cooking Pot still cooks Asparagus Soup and Cinnamon Apples from sea water.

Water in the Cooking Pot
- Asparagus Soup and Cinnamon Apples cook from a bucket of fresh water of any grade. The dish is safe whatever went into it.
- The Cooking Pot cooks nothing while one of its ingredients is sea water. The soup would come out safe, which would make the sea drinkable. Take the bucket out and the pot starts again.
